As a sort of game between us I sent several double bass improvisations exploring new techniques and timbres I was developing at that time, and Jonathan sampled and manipulated them with the software he was working on. There where no real predetermined intentions or ideas behind the process, just kids bouncing a ball in a sunny afternoon, making up the game as they go. The name Postcards is tied to this gamelike nature of the music and the obvious geographical distance between the irish coast and the catalan beaches.» (Àlex Reviriego en bandcamp)
